Make sure the fabric or material to be dyed is clean and free of any dirt, oil or impurities. Fabrics may need to be prewashed, especially if they are new or have had any finishing treatment.

Prepare the dye bath by dissolving the appropriate amount of Basic Green 4 dye in hot water. The ratio of dye to water can be varied depending on the shade and intensity desired. Refer to instructions for recommended ratios.

Dip the fabric in the dye bath and stir gently to ensure even dye penetration. The temperature and duration of the dyeing process depend on the type of fabric and the desired depth of green paper dyes liquid. Maintain a consistent temperature and stir occasionally.

Once the desired color is achieved, rinse the dyed fabric thoroughly with cold water to remove excess dye. Follow with a warm or cold wash using a mild detergent to remove remaining dye particles. Rinse again in cold water until the water runs clear.

Hang fabric or lay flat to dry in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. It is recommended to iron the fabric at an appropriate temperature to fix the dye. Always do a small test on scraps or samples before large-scale dyeing.
